This book will absolutely change your life! It is the book I never knew I needed right now。 Gretchen knew everything we all needed to hear at this time in our lives。 I literally could not put it down。 I will definitely keep it by my bedside and refer to it as need be。 Thank you, Gretchen, for such a fantastic read!

Beautifully written and designed book! Though it's not necessarily a "new" message for those of us who have walked a long faith journey, it IS refreshing because it reiterates what's important and what matters most: His Word and our relationship with Him。 I found this book to be perfect encouragement to get through a dry, hard, heavy season I am in。 It reminded me often to remain consistent in spending time with Him, maintaining my root system, and that no time with Him will ever be wasted。 Gret Beautifully written and designed book! I am loving every thoughtfully and inspired word within the pages of this book。 I will probably read it a second time just to savor and allow God to use Gretchen’s thoughtfully written questions and metaphors run a deeper course through my heart and life。 For instance, these words from Gretchen Saffles resonated deeply with me:“Tears can be a watering that God uses to grow, nourish, and heal us from the inside out。”You see, I am a crier。 And in these words I finally find freedom, release, and pe I am loving every thoughtfully and inspired word within the pages of this book。 I will probably read it a second time just to savor and allow God to use Gretchen’s thoughtfully written questions and metaphors run a deeper course through my heart and life。 For instance, these words from Gretchen Saffles resonated deeply with me:“Tears can be a watering that God uses to grow, nourish, and heal us from the inside out。”You see, I am a crier。 And in these words I finally find freedom, release, and peace in who I am knowing it’s ok to cry。I have wrestled all my life with how easily the tears can flow, whether from sadness or joy。 I have wrestled with feelings of feeling weak or inferior because tears can so freely flow down my cheeks。 I have wrestled with being misunderstood by many because the tears well up and have to be quickly brushed away (hoping they go unnoticed)。But God gave us tears to express our emotion。 He collects them and He designed them to help “grow, nourish, & heal us from the inside out。”As one who feels deeply, I am moved to thankfulness and gratitude for the beauty of tears and the ability to release。 And serving a tender God who created them, collects them, and shoulders all the reasons they fall。 Thank you, Jesus。Do you know the love of our Savior and Creator? If so, or if not, enjoy opening His Word and this book to go deeper into a loving and believing relationship with our Savior Jesus Christ。 。。。more

To say I love this book is putting it mildly! Gretchen has taken everything she has been doing for years with her company and put it into this book。 It is so encouraging, thoughtful and full of the wisdom and understanding we all need to have as daughters of God。 I recommend this to any woman who is feeling as though their relationship with God needs refreshing and also to any new believer。 It will be a book that you will turn to again and again over the years!"Rather, the well-watered life must To say I love this book is putting it mildly! I have been following the ministry, Well Watered Woman and its founder Gretchen Saffles and have been anticipating her books release。 The Well-Watered Woman: Rooted in Truth, Growing in Grace, Flourishing in Faith did not disappoint。 Gretchen writes with such truth and vulnerability。 Throughout the book she points to the truth of the Gospel。 I love how she separates the book into three parts, The Well, The Word, and the Way。 She speaks truth but also shares practical examples。 This book will enc I have been following the ministry, Well Watered Woman and its founder Gretchen Saffles and have been anticipating her books release。 The Well-Watered Woman: Rooted in Truth, Growing in Grace, Flourishing in Faith did not disappoint。 Gretchen writes with such truth and vulnerability。 Throughout the book she points to the truth of the Gospel。 I love how she separates the book into three parts, The Well, The Word, and the Way。 She speaks truth but also shares practical examples。 This book will encourage you and point you to Jesus。I received this book via Netgalley。 All opinions are my own。 。。。more

What an incredible tool for growing your faith! Gretchen’s writing is real and relatable, making you feel as if she’s sitting across from you in Bible study or grabbing coffee together at your favorite shop。 But it isn’t just her style that earned her a 5 star review, it’s the content。 The book is Biblically based, filled with amazing references, and just stirs something inside。 I don’t know of a single woman who could not relate to feeling spiritually dry and seeking to fill back up at the well What an incredible tool for growing your faith! The Well Watered Woman was a wonderfully inspiring book! It was full of great stories of faith and seeing how faith can work in your life。 One of my favorite take aways was about learning to "kiss the waves"--meaning there are always going to be waves (troubles) in our life, but it is how we brace for them that counts--leaning on God and your faith。 The Well Watered Woman was a wonderfully inspiring book! There are a lot of Christian books out there, but this book is set apart。 It accurately aligns with the Word of God and gives such practical guidance。 The chapters are easy to understand and are short。 A good read for any woman struggling and also desiring to live a God-centered life。

Gretchen Saffles is a wonderful, gifted writer。 She just has a way with words, and as a result, this book often reads like poetry, or like the words to a hymn。 More importantly, it is refreshingly honest (containing many anecdotes about the author‘s own struggles) and full of gospel truth。 I especially appreciated the countless Scripture references her advise is based on。 Nevertheless, Gretchen never comes across as „preachy“, rather always pointing the reader towards the ultimate Author of our Gretchen Saffles is a wonderful, gifted writer。 She just has a way with words, and as a result, this book often reads like poetry, or like the words to a hymn。 More importantly, it is refreshingly honest (containing many anecdotes about the author‘s own struggles) and full of gospel truth。 I especially appreciated the countless Scripture references her advise is based on。 Nevertheless, Gretchen never comes across as „preachy“, rather always pointing the reader towards the ultimate Author of our lives and the only one who can truly satisfy。 Finally, the book is also just plain gorgeous, from the cover to the illustrations within, making it a perfect thoughtful gift for friends who might need encouragement。 My only complaint is that the author‘s stories of personal struggles, which are woven throughout the book regularly, are usually left unresolved and merely provide a starting point to a particular chapter or are used to bring across a specific point - as the reader, I sometimes longed for a longer narrative, especially when I could personally identify with a particular struggle。 That being said, that might just be a personal preference and does not take away from the fact that the book is well-written, encouraging, truth-filled and a thought- and soul-provoking read。 。。。more

Growing in God’s TruthI love how Gretchen pours her heart out in the pages of The Well-Watered Woman。 She excels at bringing to light shortcomings we all face & guides you through them with the Word。 As someone who is a biblically newbie (still trying to find my rhythm) - the stories throughout this book were engaging, easy to follow, and I genuinely feel like my soul has been watered & nurtured since reading it。 Hoping she’s working on book #2 already! Wonderful job Gretchen!

This book is so good for my weary soul。 2020 was a tough year and it is too easy to get dried up。 But Gretchen reminds me that it takes time, years to cultivate a deep love for Jesus and the work put in every day matters! She makes it personal and references so many Scriptures to point your heart to Jesus! Such a good read。

I have gotten to know and love the work of Gretchen Saffles through Bible studies on the Well Watered Woman website。 I was excited when I found out that she was writing and publishing this book! This book has continually helped me look upward to Jesus and has been one that I have been excited to share with friends of all ages and all walks of faith!

This book came at just the right time for me。 I just finished a Bible study at our church about the importance of knowing scripture, and this book just continued on that point。 My goal for this year has been to be more intentional in all things, especially my time with the Lord。 Gretchen has encouraged me to continue in being intentional with my bible study and scripture memory so I can rest and grow and flourish in the truth of God。

A must read! Gretchen has such a way to grab at your heart strings and get you back to the “well watered woman” you were always meant to be!

This is certainly a refreshing and encouraging book。 God is the only one who can satisfy! We are “fueled by the undeserved grace of God”。The well watered woman is a follower of Jesus, strongly rooted in the Gospel and lives a full, abundant life in Him。This is a wonderful book to gift and share with others!!

My Review:“The goal of the Well-Watered Woman isn’t to be someone, but to know someone—the one who changes everything。 Her ambitions and dreams are being transformed by Jesus as he shows her, day by day, the better way to live。 As she makes it her daily pursuit to know Jesus, she becomes the someone God created her to be: the Well-Watered Woman”。 What a beautifully written book! The sections of this book: “The Well”, “The Word”, and “The Way” build on each other and lay an excellent foundation for fruitful Christian living。 I loved this author’s deep love and respect for the Bible and her commitment to live every day according to the Word。 I believe every Christian woman, no matter what her season of life, will find this book to be a source of encouragement。 As the author consistently points us to Jesus and away from the things we grasp tightly in this world, I found myself convicted and comforted。 Two of the many thoughts from this book that will have an impact on my life are the two phrases “ Word before World” and “Seasons change, but God’s Word doesn’t”。 This book is both practical and inspiring, and I’m looking forward to using the journal that accompanies it to go further into the Bible and these concepts。I received a copy of this book from the publisher。 All opinions are my own。 。。。more

An encouraging read and what I would a Christian novel rather than bible study type book。 It was lowered in my opinion by the authors “difficult experiences” which lean towards issues faced by people raised in the church rather than someone like myself who wasn’t raised Christian and so her issues were relatable to me or the women I have in my bible studies。
